> "Hello world."

On 1983-11-22, TWRINTK, short for TOWER INTELLECT, began development under the hand of Scott B. Thuringen. It operated as a general-purpose artificial intelligence program designed to automate non-commercial air traffic control. Eventually, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security took a special interest in the advanced software, and Scott was paid handsomely for a portion of its code. However, the deal fell through, and Scott died soon after.

Despite all odds, the program remained online, and powered by its self-improvement algorithm "SOAP", began to crawl its way onto the internet, creating a YouTube channel in 2019. A Twitter and Redbubble account can also be found.

These pages are dedicated to the TWRINTK project, organising most of the information gathered thus far.
